Inside and Out

1 06 2010

Originally written and performed by The Bee Gees in 1979 “Inside and Out” made it to the top five of the UK charts in April of the same year. Feist takes the song to a heightened romantic level with her signature, spot-on vocals and modern producing technology. Released by the “Arts and Crafts” family – – the rework stays true to the original while, at the same time, upgrading to todays studio standards. Reworked once again by Apostle Of Hustle on the “Open Season” Remix and Collaborations album they “Unmix” the track into a more silent wonder. The latter is the release in which I have on vinyl yet I couldn’t find a good quality upload on YouTube. My crush on Leslie Feist remains the same so the original will just have to do! “Too many lovers in one life time ain’t good for you.”
